December 2018

Getting ready for the new year?  Well if you've already picked up your 2019 calendar, made your resolutions and scheduled an exercise class then you can move on to getting organized in the office.  Your business software could use some prep work, too.

In our previous blog article we told you how to create new accounting periods.  In addition to creating your new periods for 2019, you may also want to update the Holiday Dates table in SAP Business One.

Access it through the Company Details > Accounting Data > Holidays field menu.

The holiday dates table can be taken into consideration within the MRP wizard for calculating recommended production or purchase dates.  They are also used within the Purchasing module, goods receipt date and in the Production module, production date.
